Who we are
Cattail Pets is a pet-care service operated by Shanhe Holdings Inc., based in Ontario, Canada. This summary explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect and why
We collect only what we need to provide pet care: your account details (name, email, phone, address), your pet and home-access details, your booking and visit records, and any messages you send us. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number. We use this information to schedule and deliver visits, match you with a sitter, take payment, and keep your home and pets safe.
How we protect and share it
Sensitive home-access details are encrypted and shared only with the sitter assigned to your booking, for the dates of that booking. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We share it only as needed to provide our service (your assigned sitter, and providers like Stripe), or where required by law.
Your choices
You can review or update most of your information in your account, or by contacting us. You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it.
